It's a beautiful, beautiful country, populated by extremely talented artisans. Most of Ecuador's art and craft is traditional in nature, having been created in virtually the same way for generations. Items are frequently crafted from nature's bounty - seeds, nuts, dyes. Nothing in Ecuador is wasted (a good lesson for all of us!) and is often recycled into charming creations to brighten our homes.
